Bedroom Wall

Thought I'd add information and pictures of additional improvements.

Ikea Pax wardrobes were used in the bedroom to create a computer workstation and an entertainment center. The computer is wired into the TV as well. The wires connecting the devises were all run behind the Pax units. We cut holes in the cardboard backing and attached plates to facilitate running the cables.

The boxes are also from IKEA. Malla black and white toile.

Kitchen Update

Well the kitchen has been installed for about 6 years now and here is an update.

The  faucets, lights, ceiling fans, and  appliances have worked without any problems to date.
The granite ( white quartzite ) is in excellent condition.

The floors installed in 2006 are in excellent condition. The floor product is Quick Step Laminate Flooring
Perspective 4-sided Bevel Edge Long Plank Oak Dark Long Plank Authentic.

Kitchen Paint - Benjamin Moore Super White flat

The tile was installed in 2006 and is  Daltile Rittenhouse Square  3x6

The kitchen table was custom made by fine furniture maker Jim Kroll from Maine.

Ceiling Fan

A TV Mount was added to cabinet

Pictures

The kitchen cabinets, sink, and most appliances have been installed. The walls will need to be patched where the elctrician has left holes.

Still to be done, the ovens, the floor, and tile. It is really starting to look good.

Granite

The top choice so far is called White Quartzite. This is not technically a granite, but has the same properties as other stone countertops. The actual slabs under consideration are lighter than the picture shown below.

The granite shown in this picture is close in color and effect to the White Quartzite. The larger picture of this kitchen is shown as well.

Ceiling Fan

This will be the Ceiling Fan. Minka Aire Supra 32 Ceiling Fan
Model #MF-F562-BS.

Water Filtration

Aquasana undercounter water filter system from filterwater.com

Aquasana undercounter water system 4000 includes everything you need to install a Consumer Digest "BEST BUY"-rated Aquasana AQ-4000 water filter under counter. The combo inlcudes filter and an attractive, convenient, lead-free faucet and all the necessary fittings, tubing, brackets, etc.

Hardware

The Knobs and Bin Pulls are polished chrome.

The Oven/Refrigerator Wall

There should be a 1 1/2" face frame showing on the sides of the 27" oven in this 30" oven cabinet.

Sink Wall


The sink cabinet need reinforcing to carry the weight of the fireclay sink. The sink will sit on a floor within the cabinet.

Peninsula

The peninsula should have a false door on the back to balance the access door for the blind corner.

Both the trash cabinet and the 8" pullout should have drawers. The 2" spacer will remain. See here to get the idea.

Cabinentry Style

Doors

This Walzcraft Door style is similar to the one we want to use. I'm showing the door with the beadboard panel because I can not find this exact door style in Walzcraft veneered flat panel door section.

The panel would be a plain flat panel. The outer edges are rounded and the inner edge of the door frame has a bead.




This door is being shown because it's the style we don't want. Note edges of door frame are not rounded or beaded.



Drawers

The top drawers will be as shown here. The larger drawers will be framed as the doors.

The cabinets will be painted, here are the painted finishes from Walzcraft.

Jenn air Pro Style Dishwasher

This is the Jenn Air dishwasher with Pro-Style handles, model # JDB1250AWP.
